Pressure is mounting on unvaccinated NHS workers after the government announced that health and social care providers in England must ensure staff are fully immunised against covid-19 by Spring 2022.

In a statement, the government said that ensuring the maximum number of NHS staff are vaccinated will help protect the most vulnerable patients from covid-19 infection, while also protecting workers and relieving pressure on patient care brought on by staff illness.
