US labour and employment specialist Fisher Phillips is launching its first international offices in Mexico with the addition of an eight-partner team from Deloitte.

The firm confirmed it will open an anchor location in Mexico City along with satellite offices in Guadalajara and the state of Queretaro – both emerging manufacturing hubs in the region.

In a statement, the firm said the move was in response to Mexico’s growing influence in the global economy and a reflection of its commitment to expanding its footprint to better serve clients with interests in the region.
