A tax expert who lost her job due to her gender-critical beliefs has won three employment tribunal claims that she was unfairly discriminated against and victimised. The judgment establishes that gender-critical beliefs are protected in the workplace.

Maya Forstater lost her visiting fellowship at the think tank Center for Global Development (CGD) after she tweeted criticism of now-scrapped government plans to reform the Gender Recognition Act, allowing people to declare their own gender.
