Two Indian nationals have been arrested by police in Italy’s Verona province on charges of enslaving 33 farm labourers, all from India, according to media reports.

The police also seized assets worth €475,000 (£399,192) belonging to the two men. They owned two agricultural firms but recorded no workers on their books. They have allegedly been avoiding taxes as well, according to a report by news agency ANSA.
