Italy’s Constitutional Court recently extended the possibility for judges to reinstate unfairly dismissed employees. Under Italian law, different remedies exist if a court deems a dismissal to be unfair depending on the reasons for the dismissal, the size of the company, and the date on which the employee was hired.
