Industrial action expected to take place at a Meta data centre in the Irish village of Clonee, County Meath last week has been deferred after the union decided to take matters to court instead.

A group of engineers at the site represented by Irish trade union Connect have been feuding with the social media giant over accusations it imposed unilateral changes to their terms and conditions which have had a significant negative effect on their work patterns.
