Recent demand for employees to return to the office (RTO) has highlighted the crackdown on hybrid working and could run the risk of excluding women and other protected groups from the workplace, warn experts.

Earlier this month, CEO of smartphone company Nothing Carl Pei explained why he wanted his 450 employees back in the London office: the logistics of developing his products weren’t conducive to remote working, innovation worked better in person, and the levels of ambition he looks for cannot be met through remote work.
