As the UK’s political scene heats up ahead of the 4 July general election, the next government must change the law on hot workplaces, according to a labour rights group.

With the mercury set to hit 29°C in parts of Britain on Tuesday, the Trades Union Congress (TUC) is warning that the next government must improve workplace protections by introducing legal maximum working temperatures.
