Following reports of widespread abuse of the Canada’s Temporary Foreign Worker (TFW) system, the government has announced plans to lower the number of workers being let into the country.

“It’s not fair to Canadians struggling to find a good job, and it’s not fair to those temporary foreign workers, some of whom are being mistreated and exploited,” said Prime Minister Justin Trudeau in a press conference on Monday.
