A barristers’ chambers must pay one of its members almost £27,000 in compensation after an employment tribunal found the set had discriminated against and victimised the lawyer for her protected gender-critical beliefs. Claims that an LGBTQ+ rights charity pressured the set to discipline the lawyer, and that the chambers denied her work, were dismissed.
