Italy’s five biggest digital platforms are struggling to offer employees acceptable working standards, according to a recent report from action-research project Fairwork.

The report, released last week, analysed the working conditions of gig platforms Jobby, Just Eat, Glovo, Deliveroo, and Helpling, evaluating each based on five criteria: fair pay, fair conditions, fair contracts, fair management, and fair representation.
