In a landmark reform, India, in late 2019 and early 2020, passed the Code on Wages, 2019 (Wage Code), Industrial Relations Code, 2020 (IR Code), the Occupational Safety, Health and Working Conditions Code, 2020 (OSH Code) and the Code of Social Security, 2020 (SS Code).
