Bullying, racism, and sexual assault are rife throughout Rio Tinto’s global operations, a report reviewing the company’s culture has revealed. The mining giant’s leadership has vowed to implement changes, but educating employees and implementing a zero-tolerance approach to inappropriate behaviour will be key to resetting what some staff consider to be a toxic working environment.
