Amazon is facing a possible class action lawsuit over its alleged misuse of genetic data in Illinois. The lawsuit claims that the world’s largest online retailer has been collecting and using employees’ genetic information without obtaining the explicit consent required under the state’s Genetic Information Privacy Act (GIPA).
