Asda workers are demonstrating in Manchester and Brighton today, 9 September, as their landmark UK equal pay claim begins. 

More than 60,000 Asda employees are taking their case to the Employment Tribunal, the largest private sector equal pay claim in UK legal history. 

In Manchester, dozens of Asda staff are expected to demonstrate outside the Civil Justice Centre, where the latest stage of the long-running dispute is being heard.
