As of 1 July, significant amendments to the employment agreement regulations in Norway will come into effect. These changes are in alignment with EU Directive 2019/1152, commonly known as the Transparent and Predictable Working Conditions Directive. All employers must prepare and implement new employment agreements for hires from 1 July onwards. Existing employees who request new agreements must also be provided with updated contracts that comply with the new regulations.
