The US Department of Labor (DOL) filed a lawsuit last week asking a federal court to stop South Korean auto giant Hyundai from allegedly profiting from child labour in its supply chain.

Hyundai, along with its suppliers SMART Alabama and Best Practice Service, has come under fire following a Wage and Hour Division investigation that found a 13-year-old girl working operating heavy machinery that formed sheet metal into car parts.
