Employers in the Netherlands are now required to keep a record of how their workers commute to and from work as part of the country’s ambitious plans to half CO2 emissions by 2030.
From 1 July, Dutch businesses with more than 100 employees must provide the total number of kilometres travelled by all workers each year, broken down by fuel type and mode of transport. This applies not just to commutes, but all mileage travelled in a work capacity.
