Vodafone is aiming for one-quarter of its senior managers globally to come from ethnically diverse backgrounds from 2030, up from 18% at present, as the firm steps up efforts to make its workforce truly inclusive.

The telecoms giant wants its most senior 160 leaders across its European and African markets to be truly representative and reflect the countries in which they operate.

In addition, by 2025, 20% of Vodafone’s UK-based senior staff will come from Black, Asian, or other diverse ethnicities, up from 16% currently.
